Silver Oaks has announced that Sven has been hired to play the part of “The Penguin” in the upcoming game “Glacier Racer.”

“Hiring Sven was a given,” says Greg Scott, president of Silver Oaks Communications. “His natural charisma, raw talent and fluid grace carries through our game play.”

Sven, originally not a native of the Quad Cities, moved here from the Antarctic. “I was unsure about the move,” says Sven, “but this part came naturally to me.”

“The audition process was intense,” says Martha Renk-Weitzel, director. “We had many, let’s call them interesting, actors respond to our casting call. In the end though, we could only choose one.”

“For the public to decide for themselves, though,” continues Ms. Renk-Weitzel, “we’ve placed the audition footage online.”
